What is Provided
Coaching The tuition includes all elements of safety and shooting advice. Full tuition will be given for beginners: for others coaching will be given for any areas where you need assistance. Ian (and his assistant, Tony) will provide 100% attention to ensure that you have a good day and to help you at the different stands. Whether you are a beginner, improver or experienced you will find Ian's help and advice of great value.

Insurance Ian has full insurance cover. However, it must be stressed that safety is paramount for Ian and no chances are taken at any time.
Shotgun hire The charge for the day includes the hire of a suitable gun. Ian will ensure that the gun you use will fit your physique so that you are able to shoot comfortably.

Cartridges The cost of the day includes 50 cartridges, which are usually sufficient for a first lesson.

Clay pigeons The charge includes the cost of the clays.

Safety Safety is paramount and not just that you will be using guns. The physical safety of yourself and others on the shooting ground is given the highest priority. The charge also includes the use of hearing protection, safety glasses and headwear. Ian strongly recommends that all clients make full use of the safety equipment.

Transport Transport will be provided free from the Apokoronos area of Crete. If you live or holiday away from the area, Ian can meet you at a mutual agreed site within the Apokoronos area.

Refreshments The fee includes coffee at the shooting ground and lunch at a local taverna, where you will have wonderful views over the Askyfou plateau and White Mountains if there is not low cloud. The manager is on site will offer you a drink after you shoot, his local raki is of a very high quality.

Fun and Memories The White Mountains are spectacular and you will be shooting within a very special area of Crete. The memories of the locality and also the shooting will remain with you for a very long time, especially if this is part of a holiday. The food and the views at the taverna are magnificent. The fun, especially if you are with friends, is yours alone even though safety is serious. As you will see from "A Day's shoot in Pictures" the memories that Amanda took back to the UK, especially after her first shot will remain with her for many years.
